Captained by chefs Yair Yosefi and Omer Ben-Gal, veterans of French cooking with experience in both their native Israel and elsewhere, Brut is a Tel Aviv wine bar praised as a local 'classic' by our friends over at Time Out Israel. Now set to bring their strong culinary game to Tokyo, the Brut team will be landing in Harajuku for six April days, setting up shop along Cat Street. Promising a terrific wine selection, great food made with Japanese ingredients and, above all, a bustling, friendly atmosphere, they're accepting reservations through their website now. Best book right away, as the place is sure to get crowded.
UPDATE: Brut will also be hosting a handful of Israeli wine tasting events at their Harajuku space – these will be held on the days before and after the main pop-up (April 15 and 24) as well as on April 16, with both English- and Japanese-speaking sommeliers in attendance.
