Time Out says

This bakery and café, which originated in Nagano prefecture's Karuizawa, opened its fifth Tokyo store in Nakameguro, where it sells over 80 different types of baked goods, including baguettes, pain de campagne, brioche nanterre, and confit bread.

To prepare these loaves, Sawamura uses about 20 different types of domestic and foreign flours as well as four kinds of homemade yeast made with carefully selected ingredients like Vietnamese Khanh Hoa salt and 100 percent cane sugar from the Amami Islands.

For lunch, you can try Sawamura’s scorched miso and pulled pork pita sandwich, or the handmade pâté de campagne baguette sandwich with pickles and mustard sauce.

As for sweets, Sawamura also has a range of pastries as well as three exclusive cakes, created to pair nicely with the café’s original coffee blend. You can eat in or order takeout and enjoy these delicious treats while strolling along the Meguro River.
