This Udagawacho coffee shop is popular with locals and gets packed on weekends. Afternoons are prime time for grabbing a cup of joe, but visit here between 9am and 11.30am instead, because most items are discounted during this time only. Nothing can beat their cheese-laden ¥100 toast, which is definitely worth getting up early for. However, Mame-Hico isn't really the place for powering up in the morning: the low lighting and theatre-like, hushed atmosphere make this one better suited to laidback lingering.
