Time Out says

UPDATE: Makers have closed their Tomigaya location.

Located in the same building as Newport, this coffee stand and business lounge provides a relaxing space for creatives looking to get some work done while sipping on an excellent cup of Joe. Started by two brothers working as designers, Makers runs on a time system: the first hour is free, additional hours cost ¥380, while ¥1,050 will get you an entire day of use – no registration required. Wi-Fi access is of course included, while printers and scanners are also available. Now, that's all well and good, but the real highlight here is the coffee: espressos are pulled with a specially crafted, Dutch machine (the only one of its kind in Japan, they say), and are absolutely exquisite. The drip coffee doesn't quite live up to the same standard, but holds its own when compared to nearby competitors. Contrarians can opt for a beer – the bottle selection includes quite a few imports. Opening hours tend to fluctuate somewhat, so check their Twitter feed for the latest.
