Time Out says

Daichi no Okurimono in Ueno serves Japanese gozen-style meals at a reasonable price. Instead of the standard teishoku that comes with just one main dish, a gozen meal serves up multiple small dishes to complement your rice and miso soup. The cheapest deal here (¥1,280) offers you two options: the first meal comes with dashi-maki tamago (Japanese omelette), simmered wagyu beef, minced white fish and pickles, while the second choice has four kinds of appetisers, minced white fish, chawanmushi (egg custard) and pickles.

If you’re looking to splurge, the ¥2,800 set will get you seven dishes including a beef sukiyaki, grilled fish, simmered fish and several appetisers of the day. Whichever meal you order, you can help yourself to the drink bar as well as unlimited rice and miso soup.

There’s also a dessert buffet at the restaurant, which you can enjoy for an additional ¥390. It comes with over a dozen varieties including cream puffs, creme brulee and a chocolate fountain, alongside traditional Japanese sweets like warabi mochi, hojicha pudding and imo-kenpi (strips of candied sweet potato), just to name a few.
