Time Out says

3 out of 5 stars

Since this American diner-style restaurant closed in 2012, we've found ourselves wandering the streets of Shibuya hoping to see its pink neon sign suddenly reappear. And then one day, it did. Bringing our Demode Queen burger dreams back to life. The new version of the restaurant is neater and a tad more slick but still harks back to the '50s and '60s in mood and decor. But all we really care about is that burger. It didn't disappoint: juicy, perfectly chargrilled and served with thin crispy fries. If you're really hungry, go for the version served with a topping of mash. Most dishes on the menu are around ¥1,000, but if you're in the mood to splash out, go for the 300g ribs (¥4,350) made with domestic beef.
