Italian restaurant Tacubo in Ebisu first launched its patisserie brand, Dolce Tacubo, in 2021, and its popularity has since led to the opening of a third location in Ginza. This chic space blends seamlessly into Ginza’s luxe shopping streets, serving Dolce Tacubo’s signature baked goods alongside seasonal soft serve and eight flavours of gelato, exclusive to the Ginza shop.
The patisserie’s popular financiers, puddings, cookies and canelés are all equally tempting and make lovely gifts, but you’ll want to save room for the soft serve and gelato. Made using an Italian Carpigiani soft-serve machine, Dolce Tacubo’s soft serve is exceptionally light and silky, allowing each flavour to shine. The classic milk flavour, made with high-quality fresh cream, is available year-round alongside a rotating seasonal flavour such as matcha. As for the gelato, expect Italian-inspired flavours including pistachio, sage stracciatella and amarena cherry.
