Time Out says

Tokyo has taken robotics to the next level with this Italian restaurant serving pasta cooked by a machine. Known as the P-Robo, this cooking robot by Pronto Corporation and startup TechMagic can prepare a plate of al dente spaghetti in less than two minutes.

The robot’s cooking process is quite simple. After boiling the pre-cooked noodles, the robot's arms will move them into a frying pan along with the sauce and seasoning. The pasta is then spun around so that the noodles are evenly coated before a member of the kitchen staff plates and adds on the finishing touches. Surprisingly, the entire cooking process takes only 45 to 75 seconds, depending on the number of orders.

The new robot is making its debut at E Vino Spaghetti in Chiyoda, where you can get a serving of robot-cooked pasta for a reasonable ¥1,000. There's a generous selection ranging from classic tomato cream and carbonara to squid ink topped with uni (sea urchin roe) and Japanese-style pasta with shirasu (whitebait), seaweed and radish sprouts.
