Time Out says

This modern Japanese restaurant in Azabu-Juban serves deluxe versions of classic Japanese dishes using quality local ingredients. There are two floors, each with a different menu.

Head to the basement floor to get fresh seafood prepared in a range of different ways. There’s raw sashimi (from ¥1,430), tempura (from ¥990), charcoal grilled miso marinated black cod (¥1,980) and simmered hairtail and vegetables with egg (¥1760).

Make sure to order a side of Eat’s famed TKGC – the restaurant’s take on the comfort food tamago kake gohan (aka TKG). Typically made with raw egg over hot rice, the decadent version served here has roast beef on a bed of white rice, topped with fresh uni (sea urchin roe) and a hint of wasabi (¥2,640). The inari sushi with black truffle (¥1,980) is also highly recommended – you won’t find this signature dish anywhere else.

Not feeling seafood? The first floor menu features meat dishes only. The yakiniku-style charcoal-grilled meat (from ¥2,640 per 100g) is cooked right in front of you, and you’ll get to enjoy it right off the grill with the restaurant’s special white soy sauce. You can also get shabu-shabu hotpot and sukiyaki-style meat dishes (from ¥2,530), as well as beef cutlet sandwiches (¥4,290) and beef paella (¥4,290) for something more substantial. If you can’t decide what to get, opt for the multi-course meal (from ¥7,700) to get a little bit of everything, plus veggie appetisers to cleanse your palate between each main dish.
