Eat your way through Tachikawa's Ecute mall at this donburi or rice bowl festival, going on through April 26 at 17 restaurants inside the complex. Highlights on offer include a hamburg steak bowl with seasonal veg and tofu from Hapi Marche, a triple treat tuna bowl from the Nakaya sushi shop, and a yakitori option from Kushikura. Eat three of more of these reasonably priced (¥500 to ¥800) dishes and you'll get an Ecute gift card, which can be used at the mall's many shops – or spent on yet another donburi.
