Firefly Hunting & Evenings (2015)

Serving seasonal delicacies in the backwoods of Mount Takao, the Ukai Toriyama restaurant now puts on a special show in its beautiful Japanese garden. From June to August, the building will be lit up with lanterns, while guests can head out into the greenery after dinner to watch the natural spectacle of glowing fireflies up close. Until June 30, the nearby Ukai Chikutei restaurant also serves special kaiseki courses, which include bus transport to the Toriyama garden afterwards. The dinner deals at Ukai Toriyama start from ¥6,320 during the event period.
