Popular café Bread, Espresso & recently opened its first gelato speciality shop in Harajuku. Taking over the former Shun Kissa Pan Espresso space, the new shop keeps many of the former café’s stylish touches, including its colourful outdoor terrace seating.

Take your pick from 20 different gelato flavours, ranging from classics like vanilla, chocolate and matcha to more unorthodox varieties such as carrot cake and basil chocolate. A must-try exclusive is the ‘Moo’ – a creamy gelato studded with chunks of Bread, Espresso &’s signature cube-shaped bread, rich with buttery flavour.

Along with gelato, the café also offers sweets and beverages that pair well with the icy dessert. One drink kept on the menu from the Shun Kissa menu is the iconic Ribbon Cream Soda. You can also turn any of the gelato flavours into your custom gelato milk shake. And yes – great espresso is still on the menu!
