Time Out says
'Shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it...' – or, according to Giovanni at this new Hawaiian-style place near Kichijoji Station, smother it in garlic. The theme is 'real Hawaii', with their original garlic shrimp, 'Scampi', front and centre with an unchanged recipe from that used at the original Giovanni's in Hawaii. It comes with a liberal dose of rich butter and – of course – garlic, as well as a touch of heat to round it all off.
