Opened in 2010, the world’s first official Gundam Cafe occupies a prime location in the centre of the Gundam fan world – Akihabara. This theme park-like café isn’t just for hard-core Gundam fans looking to find fellow travellers, as they offer both a rather simple (but appropriately Gundam-themed) food menu and a range of only-here products like Gundam ningyoyaki (sweets filled with bean paste) and Gundam coasters.
