Harajuku Togo Kinenkan Beer Terrace

Quite a step up from most of the city's other beer gardens, this one is spread out across two gardenside halls in the fancy Togo Kinenkan wedding complex just behind the busy streets of Harajuku. ¥6,500 gets you access to the buffet, which includes rotisserie lamb, raclette, drinkable desserts and several tables full of other delicacies, plus three hours of all-you-can-drink beer, wine and cocktails – including one made with honey from bees grown on the grounds of neighbouring Togo Shrine. Combine all that with views of the Kinenkan's 10,000-square metre Japanese garden and the price starts sounding almost reasonable.
