You’ll find Hello Kitty-inspired dishes and drinks at this pop-up café at Narita Airport’s Anime Deck in Terminal 2. Try the adorable, though slightly unsettling, Hello Kitty Lovely Pink Curry (¥1,500) or opt for the Hello Kitty Graco Burger (¥1,500), a gratin-croquette burger topped with Hello Kitty’s friendly face. Of course, there are special drinks and dessert, too. Those with a sweet tooth will love the Hello Kitty Strawberry Pancakes (¥1,400) or the Hello Kitty Strawberry Parfait (¥1,200) in red and white, Hello Kitty’s signature colours. Perhaps the most Insta-worthy drink is the Hello Kitty Latte (¥720) with 46 different designs to choose from. The latte art design also appears on original coasters which feature Hello Kitty in all of her forms, from 1974 to 2019, and change monthly.
Hours are from 10am to 8pm (last order at 7.30pm). The café runs from July 3 to October 20. The Narita Anime Deck is free to enter without an airline ticket, so even if you’re not travelling, you can still stop by to visit the anime-themed shops and cafés.
