Henn na Café

The 'strange' openings in Tokyo keep on coming, with the latest incarnation of the Henn Na Hotel outlets being a robot café inside travel agent H.I.S.'s main Shibuya office. Choose from seven different options, including a standard drip coffee, café latte, hot chocolate or matcha latte, all made and served to you by the resident robots. The host(ess) that welcomes you at the till is American robot Sawyer, who can communicate with humans and carry out quite precise work. The barista-machine, on the other hand, is called Poursteady, and can handle making multiple cups of drip coffee at the same time – we hope it lives up to its name. This definitely ain't your average cuppa.
