Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi’s store in Dogenzaka, Shibuya, has a café hidden on the second floor, run in collaboration with Italian bar Clandestino. The soothing interior features blue chairs set around marble-top tables. On one wall you’ll find a mural painted by Kensuke Takahashi depicting a romantic scene of Venice.
Besides typical Italian coffee specialities such as espresso and latte macchiato, you’ll also find a number of unique beverages. The Latte & Menta (¥600) is a cup of calming milk flavoured with refreshing mint syrup, while the Giorgia: Cappuccino con crema Pistacchio (¥700) is simply a pistachio cream cappuccino.
You’ll also find a daily changing menu of panini (¥1,200) and quiche (¥1,000), plus a selection of desserts including ricotta cheesecake (¥800) and affogato (from ¥800).
