Great for a lazy lunch in the backstreets of Harajuku, J-Cook is a comfy, down-to-earth café that looks a lot older than it actually is. The brownish interior is illuminated by natural light streaming in through the ceiling windows, while a messy blackboard displays the day's (mostly European) food specials. Two lunch sets (¥1,000 and ¥2,000) are available every day and feature yoshoku classics like hamburg steaks and pilaf – pair your choice with a glass of wine for the full experience.
