Journal Standard officially seem to have world domination (or at least Japan domination) plans, with the fashion purveyors' repetoire now also including this pancake-based café chain. They place emphasis on their pancakes' fluffiness, likening it to 'fluffy mochi', and have a wide range of pancakes from sticky sweet-topped ones to something akin to a Full English. They have a café menu from 8am on weekdays, too. If you're not in the Nakano area, check out any of their other locations dotted around Kanto, or the ones in Osaka, Nagoya and as far north as Sapporo.
