Time Out says

The seedier streets of Shinjuku are an indication of where the most authentic yakiniku businesses are run and the nightlife district of Kabukicho certainly hits that mark. Wooden boards on the wall describe what cuts are available for the day, but if you have trouble reading Kanji, you can always just point to the tastiest looking cut on display, or ask one of the experts behind the counter for their osusume (recommendation). Different cuts of offal are available for as low as 32 yen with higher grades of beef such as A5 wagyu available at 162 yen a piece. The place wins even more points for its easy access to the metro station, but for those who have long missed their last train after a late night of karaoke, Jiromaru dishes up prime cuts of meat until four in the morning so you won’t have to go home on an empty stomach.
