Kebab Box

Located on Meiji-dori between Takeshita-dori and Laforet, Kebab Box has held a prime snack position for well over a decade now, and few outlets manage to get as close to the original Turkish style as this one. The döner kebabs are huge, packed high with tomatoes, lettuce and a mix of chicken and meat. We dropped in for an early afternoon nosebag and found the sandwich big enough to constitute a large, sit-down lunch – almost impossible to finish. Huge portions, great sauces and a sense of authenticity mean that Kebab Box ought to hold onto their meaty crown for years to come.
