Time Out says

This restaurant serving creative Japanese cuisine opened in 1997, and was originally run by the late Iori Noguchi, who left numerous well-known restaurants in Koenji. It's a 15-minute walk from the Ghibli Museum, facing Inokashira Park. The restaurant makes the most of a view of a beautiful bamboo grove beyond the large glass window. The chefs use only seasonal ingredients in their dishes. The kettle-steamed rice, which changes seasonally, is a popular dish, and diners can watch the rice being steamed in a kettle right at their table.
