Time Out says

Stand Banh Mi has opened its second location, this one in the ritzy neighbourhood of Jiyugaoka. Just like at its original location in Gakugei Daigaku, you can dine on French-inspired Vietnamese cuisine that’s made healthier without the addition of additives or artificial seasoning. While the original outlet is focused more on casual banh mi sandwiches, L’atelier de Stand Banh Mi is a little fancier and serves up noodle, rice, meat and veggie dishes. You can also pair your meal with one of the restaurant’s natural wines.

One of the signature dishes is the hu tieu kho (¥1,254), a soupless rice noodle dish topped with homemade mam tom shrimp paste, water spinach, green onion, char siu pork and a boiled egg. We recommend ordering a glass of Ecce Homo orange wine (¥1,100) to go with it. If you come here in the evening, you’ll be lucky enough to find the Jiyugaoka exclusive lemongrass spicy roasted chicken (¥3,300) that you should absolutely try.
