The main branch of this tonkatsu chain is built around a converted bathhouse. If you’re able to get a seat in the huge and airy dining room in the back, you’ll notice several telltale signs of the building’s origins: very high ceilings and a small garden pond. You can’t go wrong with any of the set meals offered here; standard rosu katsu or lean hire katsu are both good choices, and each comes with rice, soup and pickled radish.
