Time Out says
Originally from Hawaii, matcha café Maiko finally landed in Tokyo in June 2017. All the matcha used at their Omotesando outpost comes from the city of Uji in Kyoto, known for growing the best matcha leaves in Japan. These are turned into their popular ice cream as well as four Tokyo originals only available here, including matcha pancakes and a matcha pudding. Everything's made in store and offers a slightly Hawaiian-flavoured taste of Japan.
