Now operating more than ten branches in Tokyo, the Menya Musashi tsukemen and ramen chain got its start here in 1998. Their Shinjuku base still sees queues practically every day, with noodle aficionados waiting patiently for a taste of Musashi's famed 'double soup' – a mixture of flavourful seafood stock and studiously boiled chicken and pork broth.
