Time Out says

Healthy lunch and dinner options await at MK Farmers & Grill in Ningyocho, with many dishes here made using organic produce from a farm in Karuizawa, Nagano prefecture.

One of the most affordable times to visit is during lunch on weekdays, when you can get  meals like shrimp tomato cream pasta, veggie-filled lasagna and roasted cauliflower garlic risotto for ¥1,000. More substantial meat and seafood options like salmon (¥1,350) and US black angus steak (¥1,350) are also available for lunch.

At dinner, you can try an array of bistro dishes. Look out for the prosciutto platter topped with fresh buffalo mozzarella from Kurkku Fields in Chiba, and a charred beef carpaccio with burnt butter sauce and herbs.

One of the restaurant’s most interesting options is the Karuizawa Bonum Terre's carrot dish. The carrots are roasted at a low temperature with the skin on, and then roasted again over a wood fire so that the skin is charred, which brings out the natural sweetness of the carrots. They’re finished with a sauce of salted sea urchin and butter, plus a sprinkling of crushed pistachios and parsley.
