If ikura is your thing, head to this new Jiyugaoka restaurant as fast as the Tokyu line can carry you. Namino's ikura-don is packed to the point of bursting with Hokkaido-sourced fish roe – you'll really have to search for the rice underneath. But when you do find it, don't be surprised: the chefs use simple white rice rather than the usual vinegared version to bring out an additional wave of ikura flavour, and their homemade sauce makes for a perfect pairing too. Besides the other menu items, which include half-size bowls with seasonal seafood toppings, they sell packs of ikura pickled in soy sauce for you to take home.
