Voted Best Restaurant in the World four times by Restaurant magazine, Copenhagen's Noma is the standard-bearer for New Nordic Cuisine, the style of gourmet cooking that emphasises pure, fresh and natural ingredients above all else while putting a new spin on traditional Scandinavian recipes. In January 2015, chefs René Redzepi and Claus Meyer will be bringing their talents to Tokyo and to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, where they will be conjuring up food magic from the best Japanese ingredients. Table reservations for this roughly month-long visit will be taken exclusively at Noma's official website, while overnight packages (includes room and dinner) will be available for booking at the hotel website. Reservations are taken from June 23, 2014, and you'll have to move fast in order to have a chance.
