Time Out says

This Hawaiian-themed café inside Lumine Est Shinjuku is a branch of Kanagawa’s Pacific Drive-in. While the original café is known for traditional Hawaiian meals like garlic shrimp and loco moco, Pacific Bake House offers a more modern menu. You’ll find the likes of open-faced sandwiches with toppings like ahi poke and avocado (¥1,300) or jamon serrano and rocket leaves (¥1,300), as well as three kinds of colourful salads (from ¥1,100).

The sweets selection is also worth exploring, with a variety of scones (¥400), muffins (¥260), cookies (¥280) and doughnuts, including the malasada (¥170). However, we recommend the signature dessert, the parfallo (¥850). The name comes from the word parfallo, which is a combination of ‘parfait’ and ‘swallow’, meaning it’s a drinkable parfait. It comes in three flavours – coffee macadamia, blueberry coconut cheesecake and lilikoi banana tea.

The drink menu is also impressive, with cold brews on tap plus a selection of teas, kombucha and tropical juices. For an additional ¥110, non-dairy drinkers can swap out milk with soy, almond or oat milk, too.
