Pound-Ya

The name gives it away – almost. You can't get your meat by the pound, although sales by the gram are the speciality at this popular carnivores' favourite that also operates a restaurant in Kichijoji. 100 percent wagyu hamburg steaks cost ¥5.5 per gram, while the kuroge wagyu steaks go for ¥10 per gram. The vegetable-heavy appetisers, made with organic produce, also come highly recommended.
