Time Out says

Ristorante Ginza Sicilia has been a go-to spot for Italian food in Ginza for 50 years. Now, though, there’s a second venue inside Shibaura Institute of Technology Toyosu Campus.

The restaurant was designed by leading Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, who decided to construct the interior using recycled paper tubes. The first thing you’ll notice when you step inside is the wavy ceiling made with long tubes alongside intricately designed hexagon frames. And if you look closely, you'll see that the chairs and partitions are also constructed from these tubes. The tables and counters, meanwhile, are made from Richlite, a sustainable material made from paper.

While the decor is fascinating, it’s the food that you’ll be staying for. And fans of the original Ristorante Ginza will be pleased to see that the menu offers the pasta, pizza, gratin and meat dishes that are popular at the Ginza outlet.

There’s the sweet ketchup and butter-seasoned Neopolitan pasta (¥750 for lunch, ¥1,150 for dinner) with bacon, green pepper and mushroom as well as the popular green salad with cucumber and lettuce (¥780) that’s only offered during dinner. Unlike your usual salad, this dish has a bed of dome-shaped lettuce covered with thin slices of cucumber and a housemade garlic dressing.
