The cool autumn weather means it's almost time for oyster season, as these slimy delights pack on an extra layer of fat (aka deliciousness) when the water temperature falls in the seas around Japan. Pop-up 'oyster huts' are set up all around town during the winter months, while some new restaurants even match their opening dates to go with this section of the gourmet calendar. That appears to be the case with this rooftop spot in Shibuya, opened inside the Modi building and pledging to serve an eclectic menu of all things oyster, from raw specimens to non-alcoholic oyster shooters. The latter come in 10 varieties and incorporate ingredients from uncured ham to pumpkin soup and mango sauce. Why not try stopping by just for a couple of these colourful concoctions?
