Ebisu's seafood-biased, wine-specialist bistro Sakanabar takes on Roppongi with this spacious, harbour-themed eatery along Roppongi-dori. Their Mediterranean-Japanese fusion fare is based on fish imported directly from Hokkaido's Hakodate and can be washed down with reasonably priced, mainly Italian and Spanish plonk. Appetisers start at ¥300 while most of the main dishes go for less than ¥1,000 – friendly prices, as long as you can control yourself: practically everything on the menu looks worth trying.
