The Oriental Lounge at Mandarin Oriental Tokyo is celebrating cherry blossom season with a sakura afternoon tea featuring sweets and savoury petit fours produced by executive pastry chef Stéphane Tranchet. Not only is the food shaped into pastel pink sakura petals, but it's also seasoned with sakura flavours.
For ¥6,050, (¥7,150 on weekends), you’ll get a selection of sandwiches including sakura salt marinated salmon with sour cream, and chicken salad with sakura vinaigrette and croutons, as well as sakura mousse, sakura pound cake, sakura mizu-yokan (sweet bean paste jelly), scones and much more.
