A visit to Aoyama Flower Market’s greenhouse-like café space is always a great way to forget the hustle and bustle of Tokyo’s streets, and with cherry blossom season here, the eatery has come up with two new sakura-themed creations to munch on. The Sakura Dayori (¥1,296) are crêpes topped with homemade jelly made from cherry blossom extract, shiratama mochi (rice flour dumplings) and sakura-flavoured bean jam. Next to it sits a scoop of sakura-mochi ice cream on a cherry blossom leaf complete with granola sprinkles and edible sakura petals. Pair this Instagram-worthy snack with the café’s Sakura Milk (¥648) and you'll be set for cherry blossom season.
