For a short time, you can sample some Japanese strawberries frosted with sakura (cherry blossom) in an afternoon tea set. Some of the strawberry treats include pink macarons topped a whole strawberry, sakura cream-filled strawberry cupcakes and a host of other sweets that look way too pretty to eat. Savoury light dishes, on the other hand, include scallops and duck.
You can choose from five sets, starting with the Standard Afternoon Tea, which goes for ¥4,900 per person. At the highest-end sits the Deluxe Afternoon Tea with Conrad Bear set; it comes with a Conrad teddy bear and a glass of champagne, all for ¥8,350 per person. Whichever you choose, you can be sure that it will be served on a gorgeous, flowery tea setting.
