Sambazon Açaí Cafe (CLOSED)

Opened in early April 2016 in the space formerly occupied by 'Hawaiian macrobiotics' eatery Island Veggie, the Sambazon café offers acai treats like smoothies and juice from the famed Californian producer. Popular with OLs and ladies-who-lunch, the joint also offers energy-charged acai bowls, a range of vegetarian burgers and highly competent, fruit-heavy breakfasts, served from 7am every day. Not the finest culinary experience in Hiroo, sure, but a competent spot for those days when you're craving something figure-friendly.
