This little eatery close to Minowa Station serves a large number of plates and alcoholic beverages made with a variety of spices. Sample ten different types of home-brewed spice-infused shochu including their ‘yamaya-shu’, ‘cardamon-shu’ or ‘ume(plum)-shu’ – all for a mere ¥500. Pair your drink with some unorthodox izakaya fair including yakisoba, fish and chips, edamame cheese toast or even a slice of carrot cake. Sanya Sakaba is even open for two hours in the morning, to serve you a proper breakfast before you start your day.
