Having honed his skills at the near-legendary Kyo Aji nearby, chef Sasada works his magic with the finest Tsukiji ingredients at his small miracle of a restaurant, which moved to slightly more spacious surrounds in Toranomon back in 2011. The menu lists two omakase options (¥16,000 and ¥19,000, plus service), both centred on seasonal vegetables and seafood prepared in a multitude of ways. Sasada offers the choice of dining in a private room, but – if the occasion allows for it – opting for a seat at the counter is how to really make the most of the experience. You'll be sure to leave satisfied.
