A kama-age shop that's been selling udon and soba to hungry noodle-lovers since 1984 from its Miyamasuzaka-dori location, Sawanoi was originally owned by a fellow who trained at famous Miyazaki udon joint Shigenoi, and it shows in the resulting noodles, the dough of which is a careful blend of two types of flour.
