Scorpion pasta

Apparently deciding that its locust peperoncino wasn't extreme enough, Kinshicho Italian restaurant Absente has upped the stakes. Head there this month and you can sample a delectable plate of fresh pasta topped with a whole scorpion, whose juices are mixed with the tomato sauce to create a sort of arachnid arrabbiata. Daring diners should note that there are only ten portions available per day, priced at ¥1,980 each.
