Showa Kinen Park Oyster Hut (2015)

The barbecue garden at Showa Kinen Park again hosts this hut where visitors can feast on fresh oysters from Tohoku until the end of March. Grilled right there on the spot, the savoury goodies can be enjoyed freely, all-you-can-eat style (from ¥3,480), and the condiment selection ranges from wasabi and soy sauce to tartar and chilli sauce. The hut has proved extremely popular in past years, so booking ahead is advisable.
