Haus von Schwarz presents: Fresh Meat #13
Time to get spooky. Tokyo’s alternative drag house Haus von Schwarz returns with another edition of its tantalisingly dark drag show, Fresh Meat. The event began in 2022 and serves as a platform to welcome both amateur drag artists and experienced veterans looking to showcase new material.As Japan’s first recurring charity fundraiser drag show, the organisation donates a portion of each show’s proceeds to various causes relating to social justice and human rights, with over ¥1.2 million raised to date. The April show is particularly exciting, as American drag performer and Dragula contestant Vivvi the Force makes a guest appearance.Fresh Meat #13 takes place April 12 from 7pm to 8pm at Silkroad Cafe in Sumida ward. Tickets are ¥2,500 and must be purchased in advance here.
