Suga Shoten

The odd-ball of the Tsukiji over-the-counter market, Suga Shoten provides yumcha (dim sum-like dishes taken with tea), cooked up in its billowing steamers. The small meat buns (¥600) are generously stuffed and wrapped in a thin layer of dough, while the succulent black pork dumplings (¥480) are made with juicy shoulder roast from Kagoshima prefecture.
