Time Out says

This tiny eatery near Ikejiri-Ohashi Station serves up Taiwanese comfort food for lunch and dinner. While it specialises in dan dan noodles and lu rou fan (Taiwanese pork rice bowls), the menu also offers smaller side plates such as fried spring rolls, shu mai, sesame balls and Taiwanese fried chicken cutlets.

Made with domestic wheat, the dan dan noodles are available with or without soup. You can also choose from other dan dan variations including a fragrant garlic bowl or a hot and spicy soup noodle. Lu rou fan, on the other hand, comes with a selection of toppings such as hard-boiled eggs, shirasu (whitebait), coriander, pickled veg and century eggs.

If you can’t choose between noodles and rice, you can just order a mini lu rou fan to complete any noodle dish for an extra ¥250. Otherwise, the restaurant also offers tianjin rice – a Chinese take on Japanese omurice that features a soft blanket of eggs and shredded crab sticks over rice drenched with a starchy, savoury sauce.
