Time Out says

Located down an alleyway near the Kaminarimon intersection in central Asakusa, Takajo Kotobuki specialises in game and boasts over 300 years of history. Bookings must be made in advance, and if you're a first-time customer, you’ll need to be introduced by one their regulars. However, with only a handful of proper game restaurants in Tokyo, this one offers an experience for the ages. Everything they serve is of exceptional quality, but due to variable supply, the exact menu changes daily – depending on the birds that come in. Interestingly, they’ll even let you bring your own drinks at no extra charge, although the hefty price of a meal here already includes enough beer to satisfy. Further adding to the entertainment is a proprietress who speaks in a particularly attractive old shitamachi (downtown) dialect.
