Those looking for a spicy, filling and affordable meal in Takadanobaba will find satisfaction at this second-floor Thai joint where the tom yam kung is fiery, lunch set portions (around ¥1,000) are mighty, and local Thai people make up a significant portion of the customers. The interior isn’t exactly what you’d call classy, as the awkwardly placed bar hints at the place's past as a watering hole, but there’s no faulting the flavours and the friendly service. Additional entertainment is provided by the Thai music videos playing non-stop on the TV – karaoke-style subtitles are included, so why not try singing along after soaking up encouragement with a couple of Singhas? Cheap take-out lunches (from around ¥650) are also available for those in a hurry.
