This summer, The Jade Room + Garden Terrace at The Tokyo Edition, Toranomon is shining a spotlight on Ishikawa’s beautiful Noto Peninsula with the latest edition of its Terroir Japan dining series. Until August 31, the restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine Richard McLellan is serving up a seasonal menu inspired by the region’s rich landscapes and standout produce from local farmers rebuilding after recent natural disasters. Expect dishes featuring Noto beef, freshly caught mackerel, juicy melon and vibrant vegetables from small farms, all paired with drinks that capture the area’s unique coastal character.
To match the menu, head sommelier Masakatsu Yatabe has put together an exclusive line-up of Noto wines from boutique producers like Heidee Winery and Says Farm, plus sake from Ishikawa favourites Fukukiri and Tengumai. Better yet, a portion of the proceeds from this special collaboration will go towards supporting recovery in the Noto Peninsula. With its elegant atmosphere and sweeping Tokyo views, The Jade Room is the perfect place to savour one of Japan’s most captivating regions.
